About a girl at her breaking point after a bad relationship and doesn't know what to do.
Never one for strength
Never one who grows stronger
Never one to hate
But always one to love longer
But what to do
When her soul is slowly shattering
Pieces breaking, part by part
She watches them fall away inside her
As her heart, too, is torn to shreds
Shards of heart tossed over memories
Tossed over their places
Tossed over their faces
These shards of heart, they bleed inside her
She watches their steady pace
She watches them fall in grace
But what to do now
When the bottom finally drops
When well past breaking point, she starts to melt
When loving faces fall gray
When wrists become more tempting
When sharp edges scream relief
What can be done
To revive a shattered soul?
When there’s no mending her heart
There’s no filling this hole
What’s left to a fix?
With a girl who doesn’t want it
A girl that feels ruined
A girl thought beyond repair
Because her heart’s been trampled
Too many times to count
Was it just one, maybe more?
How many times about?
Heartless beings
Caught up in their own lives
They can’t read a falling victim
They can’t help the pain subside
Nor enough do they care
As long as they come out alive
As long as they succeeded
They didn’t care about taking her life
Loved ones watch her fall
But they cannot understand
Get over it, they say
There’s more than life to this
But she knows that it’s all lies; she knows that nothing more exists
For now, she’ll keep living
Surviving this desolate life
For now, she’ll keep breathing
Until the day she loses her strife
