A Wish

Darkness falls, as the stars come out at night,
As a lonely man sits in the pale moonlight,
He looks to the sky, and starts to say,
Please grant me a wish, as I sit here and pray,
I wish not for money, or power you see,
I wish for something that is totally free,
The woman I love is very far away,
And the only thing I wish for,
Is to be with her forever from today,
This simple wish is all I ask,
And I know its not a difficult task,
For my love for her grows more each day,
And I know in time we'll be together in every way,
So if you grant my wish to come true,
I would look her in the eyes and say, "I Love You".
