Reflection

Time flows by,
With each passing year,
Failing to recall happiness,
The precious memories I hold dear,
Life remains the same,
Regardless which road I take,
Walls built up inside,
Barriers that shall never break,
Dreams shattered,
Hopes I held so strong,
Lost now in time,
Buried and forever gone,
Very little inside,
Of who I was remains,
Push deep down within my soul,
Surrounded by sorrow and pain,
Even though I search,
For the last beacon of light,
Forever my spirit falls,
Into the depths on the night.
