A poem I wrote well looking in the mirror
The mirror is always there, taunting me
It shows a pretty face (I always see a pretty face)
Yet when I move closer, that face is no more…
Her blemishes and imperfections taking centre stage,
Marring all beauty– into the non-existence of distance.
