Pikachu's Grand Adventure

In the Pokémon World, long ago, where there are no humans in this world, there lived a tiny peaceful kingdom inhabited by the Pokémon themselves. The kingdom is known as Raichu Kingdom, because the king and queen of this kingdom are Raichu as well. The citizens of the kingdom are Pokémon as well, but not Raichu like the king and queen. The smallest citizen is Pikachu and he’s much smaller than the other Pikachu who lived there. Nobody wants to hang around with him. Nobody but his loving mother, who cares for him ever since he was a Pichu.

One day, fear has settled in Raichu Kingdom, because a great and terrible Pokémon has invaded the kingdom. The Pokémon is known as Charizard, and altered black color skin shows that he’s evil, plus he’s much bigger than any other Charizard. He snatches almost any Pokémon that will fit in his giant belly. Yes, this Pokémon came to grab himself lunch. The Pokémon of the kingdom couldn’t fight him, because they now live in fear. However, Pikachu is not afraid of the giant Charizard, but his mother recent that. She doesn’t want to lose her baby.

Now King Raichu called in an emergency meeting for the townsfolk on the castle grounds to settle this big problem. Even Pikachu has come, accompanied by his mother unfortunately. King Raichu came from the balcony to address the crowd.

“Good Pokémon of Raichu Kingdom,” he called to the crowd. “As you just witness awhile ago, the evil Charizard has invaded our fair kingdom.” The crowd murmur about the situation.

“Now,” he continued. “I know you all are feared by this monster, because he has devoured some of you. But we can’t all just sit here and wait to be eaten.”

“But what can we do?” one Pokémon asked. “I mean, he’s so big even if we fight we still will end up inside him.”

“Yeah,” yelled another Pokémon. “No matter what we do, our lives will end. And did you see his skin? No other Charizard has that color.”

“Yeah I think that was a shiny Pokémon we saw earlier,” said another Pokémon. “And if you ask me that black Charizard proves him to be evil.”

The king is furious with his citizens and asked, “Isn’t there anyone who is much braver than any of you cowards?”

“I am,” yelled a tiny voice. Pikachu came out into the open. Followed by his worried mother.

“Don’t you dare do anything stupid, Pikachu,” she yelled at his boy. “I do not approve of this. I will not let you go after that Charizard. You could get eaten.”

“I don’t care, mother,” said Pikachu. “I’m tired of being picked on, just because I’m smaller than the rest of the Pikachu. I’m sorry, but it’s time for me to prove you all that I got what it takes to be hero.”

Everyone laugh at the small Pikachu, which made him felt ashamed. Then the king yelled, “SILENCE!”

Everyone got silenced by the king’s voice. The king said, “How dare you all treat that little Pikachu with that kind of attitude. I should punish each and every one of you.” Everyone got scared by the king’s rage. “Now,” he continued. “Pikachu, did you say you’ll be going to face that black Charizard?”

“Yes, your majesty,” said the little Pikachu. “But I don’t even know what he resided.”

“I do,” said a voice.

“Who speaks?” asked the king.

“It is I, Luxray, the Gleam Eyes Pokémon.” He steps forward to reveal himself. Pikachu is shocked by Luxray’s great size compared to him. “I saw him land on Charizard Mountain,” he continued. “I believe that’s where he’s headed. Pikachu.” Pikachu looked at Luxray as he said, “Will you let me go on this quest with you, to take down that Charizard once and for all?”

“Well Pikachu?” the king said to Pikachu. “Will you let Luxray go with you with you?”

Pikachu thought for a moment, until he said, “Luxray, if you know the way to Charizard Mountain, then I’d be happy to have you along the way.” Luxray bowed to Pikachu.

“Then it’s settled,” said the king.

“No it’s not,” Pikachu’s mother came to his son. “There’s no way my son is going to that Charizard, not if I had to say anything about it.”

“Mother, don’t worry,” Pikachu said to his mother. “I won’t be going alone. I’ve got Luxray to accompany me. We’ll be fine.”

“Don’t worry, Mrs. Pikachu,” said Luxray. “I’ll take good care of Pikachu along the way. Though I may be a predator like that Charizard, but my eyes will allow me to spot any danger.”

The king is very amused, by Luxray’s words.

Luxray turned to King Raichu and said, “Your Majesty, we will be heading out before dawn. So with your permission, have the gates ready for our departure.”

“Very well, Luxray,” said King Raichu. “I will grant you permission, to leave the kingdom before dawn.” Pikachu and Luxray bow down to the king. “Everyone,” he continued. “You must remain calm, while the two are gone. I suggest you both should have good night’s rest before you leave.” With that, King Raichu retreat into his castle.

Luxray said to Mrs. Pikachu, “I’ll drop by your place to pick up Pikachu before dawn. Good day.” With that, Luxray headed home to prepare for the journey.

Later at night, as Pikachu was getting ready for bed, his mother came into his room. “Are you sure you won’t change your mind about going.”

“I’m sure mother,” said Pikachu. “There’s nothing you can do that will change my mind.”

Mrs. Pikachu felt worried, but felt relieved now that Pikachu is growing up. “Well then,” she said to her son. “Take this.” She handed him a special item that looked liked a ball. “It’s a light ball,” she said. “I’ve been having it since before you were born. Keep it to remember me by. It will bring you good luck.”

Pikachu took the light ball and said, “Thanks mother, I will.” He then suddenly yawned. “Well I’d better turn in. I got a long journey ahead of me.” He got into bed and said to his mother, “Good night.” He then went to sleep with a light ball in hand.

Early the next morning, before the sun came up, Pikachu got packed and ate some breakfast. Luxray came a little later to pick him up. “You all set?” he asked.

“You got it,” he replied.

Luxray smiled. Just then Mrs. Pikachu came to Luxray. “Please be careful, I don’t want to lose my baby.”

“Don’t you worry, Mrs. Pikachu,” said Luxray. “Nothing will separate us when there’s danger around.”

Mrs. Pikachu felt better, and wave the two good-bye as they pass through the town gate towards Charizard Mountain.

Luxray gave Pikachu a ride on his back to make the trip easier for him. They traveled through various locations. They were being chased by Mightyena in Dark Meadow, they crossing Quagsire River avoiding the Carvanha living there, they went through Shroomish Forest avoiding the Shroomish as well, and then made a stop at Aura Village.

They were many different types of Pokémon there. Most of them were fighting types. There’s berry shop owned by a group of Cherrim, there’s a fighting gym owned by the Machoke, and finally there’s a church where the Pokémon praised the creator of the Pokémon universe, Arceus. Pikachu knows that Arceus will guide him when he’s in trouble.

Luxray looked at the setting sun, and told the Pikachu, “We shall rest here for the night let’s find an inn.” Pikachu agreed.

They went through town and find a nice quiet inn close to the center of town. It was named Steel Inn. They went inside and rang the bell, until the owner of the Inn came. The owner is the Aura Pokémon, Lucario.

“Good evening,” he said to his guests. “If you’re staying we got two rooms that are available, Misters uh…”

“Oh,” said Pikachu. “My name is Pikachu, and this Luxray.”

Lucario got a good look at them and said, “Yes of course, Pikachu and Luxray. Just sign here.” Pikachu and Luxray each placed their paws in the stamp, and place them in the registration book. “Come this way please.”

Lucario leads the two upstairs to their rooms. “It’s not often that we have visitors in this village. Most people are very superstitious about that mountain.” Luxray and Pikachu both know he was talking about Charizard Mountain.

“Anyway,” he continued. “Here we are.” He showed them their rooms. Inside they both find their beds fit for the two. Lucario then said, “I will be honored if you both join us for dinner, my friend went to get some food. We’re having poffins made from the freshest berries you can find.”

As Lucario left, Pikachu and Luxray have settled in their own rooms, and unpack their own things. Just as they were finished, they head downstairs to find Lucario waiting for them by the fire.

“Ah there you are,” said Lucario “For a minute there, I thought you weren’t coming.”

“We were just finished packing,” said Pikachu. “Is dinner ready, yet?”

“Not yet, but there’s someone I like you to meet, he’s in the kitchen getting dinner ready. Come and sit with me and we’ll talk, while we wait.” The two did sit across from Lucario and began to chat.

“Oh I see,” said Lucario. “You guys are on a mission to destroy that black Charizard.”

“That’s right,” said Luxray. “My eyes tell me he went to Charizard Mountain.”

“And if we defeat that Charizard,” said Pikachu “Our kingdom will be safe once again.”

Lucario get a good look at the two again. “I can see your aura, Pikachu.” Pikachu was surprised. “You’re indeed brave for one so small. I’m impressed.” He then turned to Luxray. “As for you, you’re independent as well. You are a predator and yet you vowed to help the little guy.”

“Pikachu was lucky to have me around,” said Luxray. “I was able to sense danger, and a way out of it.”

“Dinner’s ready,” said a deep voice.

“Oh good, please bring it here, will ya?” asked Lucario.

“Sure thing,” said the same voice. He came out of the doorway to reveal himself. Pikachu and Luxray both look to find that the voice belong to a Charizard. But this Charizard is original colored, and so giant, that even Pikachu got scared. “What’s the matter? Did I scare ya?”

“Who me? No you didn’t scare me, much,” said Pikachu.

“Good. Anyway here are the poffins for you guys.” He put down a tray of hot cooked poffins. “Fresh from the finest berries you can find.”

As they all eat, they talk about Luxray and Pikachu’s mission. “Once we got rid of him,” said Luxray. “Raichu Kingdom will be at peace once again.”

“Good,” said Charizard. “It’s about time someone wants a piece of my brother.”

Pikachu and Luxray were shocked. “He’s your brother!?” they both said.

“He’s not just his brother,” said Lucario. “That black Charizard is Charizard’s evil twin brother.”

“Most people called him, Dark Charizard, since he’s born with black skin,” said Charizard. “I want to kill him ever since he kicked me out of that mountain. He claimed himself as lord of the mountain. He’s been taking victims to his cave, so he can eat them alive. But I am not like him. Yes I do eat Pokémon, but I never eat them without asking them. I never eat unwilling Pokémon, that’s not my nature.”

Pikachu and Luxray wish there was something they could do to cheer Charizard up. Pikachu said to Charizard, “You could eat me if you want me to. I bet I’d be mighty comfy in your tummy.”

“Aw aren’t you sweet,” said Charizard. “I would love to eat you, but I can’t. You guys are on a mission, and I can’t stop that.”

“Well, maybe you could join us, instead,” said Luxray. “We could use another member in the group.”

“But what about the inn?” asked Charizard.

“Don’t you worry about the inn,” said Lucario. “I can handle the inn by myself. Besides, you got to get your mountain back, so peace can return to Raichu Kingdom.”

“Well, I guess you’re right.” So Charizard went to his room to pack for the trip.

“You guys better turn in as well,” said Lucario. “You got a long journey ahead of you.”

Both Pikachu and Luxray went to their rooms and got into their beds to rest the night away.

Early the next morning, Pikachu and Luxray went down to get some breakfast.

They find Charizard bring out some berries.

He said to them, “Those Sitrus Berries will give you guys the energy you’ll need to face Dark Charizard.”

“Thanks,” said Pikachu. “Lucario, are sure you won’t come with us?”

“I wish I could,” said Lucario. “But I have to look after the inn, in case any more visitors come to our village.”

“Don’t you worry, Pikachu,” said Luxray. “I’m sure we got enough Pokémon to help us.”

As they finished their breakfast, Pikachu and Luxray went up and packed for the trip. Once they’re done, they went downstairs to check themselves out. Charizard was already outside ready to go.

“I thought I might give you guys a lift,” he said. “Since I can fly, I can bring you to Charizard Mountain in less than an hour.”

Pikachu said, “That’s wonderful, thank you.”

As Pikachu and Luxray climbed onto Charizard’s back, Lucario came out and said, “If you all have defeated Dark Charizard, be sure to come back anytime.”

“Sure thing Lucario,” said Luxray. With that, the three took off into the sky.

Pikachu and Luxray were lucky to have Charizard on the team. They soar over Articuno Lake, Zapdos Swamp, and Moltres Rock. Until finally, they reach Charizard Mountain. Charizard land close to the base, so that Dark Charizard won’t spot them on sight.

“Now be careful,” said Charizard. “This mountain is fragile. If you fall, you fall into the spikes of despair. I’ll go first, since I can fly if I fall. If I made it across okay, follow me.”

They carefully climbed up the mountain trail towards Dark Charizard den. Pikachu almost slipped until Luxray grabbed him with his mouth.

“Maybe I should carry you the rest of the way up,” suggested Luxray.

“I think that’s a good idea,” said Pikachu.

“We’re almost there,” called Charizard. They continued the journey up until they finally made it to the top. “Ah,” sighed Charizard. Home sweet home.” They enter the cave quietly.

Just then a flame lit the torch, and a loud voice came out. “Who dares enter my lair?”

“It is I brother,” said Charizard. “I’ve come back for revenge, and to take back the mountain.”

Dark Charizard has laugh, and step out of the shadows to show his giant, black skinned form. “You’re a fool to come back, dear brother,” said Dark Charizard. “Yet you’ve brought backup. Mmm, they look more like a couple of appetizers to me.”

“Listen you overgrown lizard,” yelled Luxray. “You took some of us from our kingdom, for that you must die.”

“Ha, I like to see you all try to kill me.”

Everyone got into battle. Charizard uses Flamethrower, Pikachu uses Thunderbolt, and Luxray uses Charge Beam. Dark Charizard let out his Flamethrower which is blue. Everyone got injured by Dark Charizard’s attack.

“Your attacks are useless against me,” said Dark Charizard. “There’s nothing you can do to stop me. And I think it’s time for some lunch.” He grabbed the tiny Pikachu by the tail, and lift high over his waiting jaws. But before he could drop him in, something hit him. “Ow,” he said as he dropped his prey. He turned around to find Lucario. The same Lucario from the inn.

“Lucario,” shouted Pikachu. “What are you doing here?”

“Well I figured that since no one could come to the village, so I close the inn and went after you guys.”

“Nice of you to join us, Lucario,” said Luxray.

“I always knew you will show up,” said Charizard.

“So,” said Dark Charizard. “It was an Aura Sphere that hit me. Well you’re going to wish you’ve never done that.” He let out a Flamethrower against Lucario, but Lucario was quick and let out an Aura Sphere against him. The two fought valiantly, but Dark Charizard got Lucario burned so badly, he couldn’t fight anymore. “Any last words, morsel?”

Pikachu wants to do something to help Lucario. He then remembers the Light Ball his mother gave him. He got it out to see what he can do. The Light Ball flashed before Pikachu, like the sun. Pikachu realized why he was so brave. “It was you that made me brave weren’t you? Well allow me to return the favor.” He went after the Dark Charizard who still got Lucario in his claws.

“Pikachu don’t,” said Luxray.

“You could get eaten,” said Charizard.

But Pikachu ignored them, and then suddenly an electrical field surrounds Pikachu as he dashed. Luxray and Charizard were amazed to find that Pikachu can do a Volt Tackle. Dark Charizard were amazed by the little Pikachu power. He tried to stop Pikachu in his tracks, but the Volt Tackle was powerful, it sends Dark Charizard through the back of the cave and down into the spikes of despair. Dark Charizard is no more.

Pikachu got exhausted after the battle, since the Volt Tackle wearied him out. Suddenly, the cave is about to collapse, and Luxray and Lucario head for the exit. Charizard tried to get Pikachu up, but Pikachu said, “You go on without me, I can’t take it anymore.”

“No way, Pikachu, I will not let you be trapped in here.” But it was too late the entrance is sealed. Charizard tried to get out but the rocks couldn’t move. He called to Luxray and Lucario, “Go get help. We’ll be fine in here.”

“We better do what he says, Luxray,” said Lucario. “I know someone who could help us.” So Luxray and Lucario went out to find help.

Inside the cave, Charizard said to Pikachu, “That was some Volt Tackle you did against Dark Charizard. Your mother will be very proud.”

“I have her to thank. It was the Light Ball, she gave me, that made me realized I can do it all along.” Pikachu tried to move, but he was too exhausted.

“You too weak to move now,” said Charizard. “It’ll take awhile before you can get on your feet again.”

“I need to rest,” said Pikachu. “But I can’t rest in this rocky area.”

Charizard tried to think of something to help Pikachu became good as new, until he got it. “I have an idea,” he said. “But you’ll have to be inside me for it to work.”

“You want me to be in your tummy, Charizard?” asked Pikachu.

“Only temporary,” said Charizard. “You need to be in a comfy place for you to fully be healed. Like you said before, you think you’d be comfy in my tummy. Well now you will.”

He gently picked up Pikachu carefully not causing him any more pain. He lift him up to his face, open his mouth, and placed him on his tongue gently before he close his mouth. He gently swallowed the little guy down his throat, so he can go down into his belly. He soon felt him in his tummy, and let out a belch.

Charizard told Pikachu as he patted his belly, “Now you stay right in there, until your injuries are fully healed. I’ll try to make sure you won’t be digested.”

Pikachu did as he was told, and took a rest. He never imagined he would sleep inside a Charizard. At least he will be safe for a while. He wonders what it would feel like living inside Charizard. He’ll have to live in his belly forever.

A few hours later, Charizard checked on Pikachu. “You’re doing okay in there?”

“Yes,” said Pikachu. “I feel good as new. I guess being inside your tummy really pay off. Can I come out, now?”

“Of course,” said Charizard. Charizard began to concentrate and then started to act like he’s throwing up. A few minutes later, Pikachu is later seen in Charizard’s mouth. Charizard took Pikachu out of his mouth and ask him, “How does it feel?”

“Feels like I’m being digested,” said Pikachu. “And I like it.”

“Anytime you want to go back inside me,” Charizard said. “Just let me know.”

Just then both Pikachu and Charizard felt an earthquake coming. They soon realized that it wasn’t an earthquake. Coming out of the ground are a group of Dugtrio. Behind them are Luxray and Lucario. Both Charizard and Pikachu are relieved.

“Lucario, Luxray you found us,” they both said.

“Of course we did,” said Luxray.

“We would never abandon you two,” said Lucario. “Besides, I can easily find you with my aura. We gather a group of Dugtrio to help us dig you guys out.”

They both began to examine Pikachu to find there are no more injuries on him.

“Wow, Pikachu,” said Luxray. “Your injuries are gone.”

“It’s thanks to Charizard, that I feel good as new,” said Pikachu. “All I need is a comfy place to heal my injuries.”

“So,” said Lucario. “You went inside Charizard I assume.”

“Yes,” said Pikachu. “But I feel fine now.”

“Excuse me,” said Charizard. “Can we get out of here now?”

Both Lucario and Luxray forgot the time, and led both Charizard and Pikachu out of the cave. Outside the sun shines brightly on the Pokémon’s faces.

As they wave goodbye to the Dugtrio, Charizard said, “Come on, I’ll give you guys a ride home.”

They all agreed, and began to climb onto Charizard’s back. Charizard took off from Charizard Mountain, and heads into the direction of Raichu Kingdom.

Meanwhile, back at Raichu Kingdom, Mrs. Pikachu was still looking in the direction he saw her little boy go. She was hoping her son will be able to come home soon. Just then, she saw something in the setting sun. She rushed to the castle to tell her majesties about what she saw. King and Queen Raichu went to the balcony to see what’s going on.

The shadow in the sun appears as an image of Charizard. But to their surprise, it’s not the same Charizard that attacked their kingdom. They saw a few Pokémon riding on its back. One them is Pikachu as well. The Pokémon have rejoiced that Pikachu has finally returned, and make room for Charizard to land in. As Charizard land on the ground Pikachu run to his mother and hug her tightly. Mrs. Pikachu was glad that her son has come home.

“I take it, you defeated Dark Charizard?” she asked.

“Yes mother,” said Pikachu. “And I have you to thank.”

“Oh, how’s that?” asked Mrs. Pikachu.

“The Light Ball you gave me,” said Pikachu. “It gives me the power to use Volt Tackle.”

Mrs. Pikachu hugged her son real tight, showing that she loved him so much. As she let go, Pikachu said, “I have some friends that I want you to meet.” He led his mother towards Charizard and the group. “This is Lucario, the Aura Pokémon,” said Pikachu. “And this is Charizard, the Flame Pokémon, and Dark Charizard’s twin.”

“A pleasure to meet you, Mrs. Pikachu,” greeted Charizard.

“A pleasure to meet you too, Charizard,” said Mrs. Pikachu.

Pikachu and his friends head to the castle of King Raichu to tell him his long tale. King Raichu is most pleased to hear about Pikachu’s success. “Pikachu,” he said to Pikachu. “You and your friends have gotten rid of the greatest threat known to this kingdom. You have my thanks.” He then bow down to Pikachu and the group. “I hereby declared that a statue will be built in your honor, for your bravery of going through the dangers, learning Volt Tackle, and spending a few hours in Charizard’s belly.”

Everyone gathered around Pikachu and carried him across the kingdom to celebrate the victory. Pikachu have never felt so happy in his life. Even his friends are happy as well.

In the end, things have begun to change across the kingdom. Pikachu has been knighted by King Raichu for defeating Dark Charizard. Luxray became a watchman of the kingdom to sense any more danger that Pikachu can take down. Charizard lived in the kingdom as well since Charizard’s cave was collapsed. He became his own inn, letting his customers sleep inside him, after he digested his dinner. Lucario returned to Aura Village to find that the population of the village has increased intensively, so his inn became full once again. Every once in a while Pikachu visit Charizard so he could sleep in his tummy, while his mother slept on Charizard’s belly.

And they all lived happily ever after. THE END.
