This is an assignment for class.
I am leading a full life.
My life is overflowing with family, friends, and God.
God has given me my mind, my heart, and my voice.
My life is as joyous and exciting as it is disappointing and predictable.
I won't pretend my life is perfect, and I won't pretend my life is horrid.
Everyone has dark, murky patches in their life, but they also have bright, beautiful spaces.
My childhood was as exciting as a little kid's could ever be.
I had a pink electric guitar and a pink microphone stand.
I thought I was going to be a pop star.
I read Harry Potter and Nancy Drew.
I got caught stashing the many yellow slips I got from my teachers the same time I was trying to stow away my report card with my first "F".
And now at 17 I have seen my little sisters born, and I have caught glimpses of them growing up.
It's amazing how fast they grow.
Not only do their bodies grow, but their hearts do as well.
To have siblings that love me as much as they do is too much to ask.
I have heard laughter.
So much laughter that I'm surprised there is any left in the world.
Laughter is my favorite genre of music.
I know that not all dreams come true, but that hasn't stopped me from dreaming
Because I am a dreamer.
I don't know how many licks it takes to get to the center of a tootsie pop.
I don't know the exact definition for every word I speak.
I don't know every word to every song on every cd I own.
I don't know a lot of things.
I hate my job.
Work, work, work.
Never rest.
Always work.
Everything routine or a horrible chaos.
Burger King is an escaped nightmare come to life to terrorize me.
I love concerts.
Nothing but joy
And the feeling of freedom.
Nothing can catch me
Unless the music stops.
Keep soaring.
Higher and higher
Above everyone and everything,
Feeling nothing but my pulse and the music.
I've lost car keys, socks, and even cds.
I've lost family members, great friends, and loyal pets.
Some lost possessions are easily forgotten
Whereas others consume my mind daily.
Luckily, when things are lost, other things appear,
Like a new best friend.
I'm looking for nothing specific.
I refuse to exclude anything in my search for something.
Close-mindedness only attracts unhappiness, and unhappiness is a disease.
I wish I could be called brave.
To stand up for something or someone.
To express how I feel.
Bravery is not a super power.
Bravery is a trait one must earn before being called a hero.
And my heart is big.
I feel so much love for so many people and so many things;
I'm lucky my heart hasn't exploded.
