my first post

A normal day out side and I thought I would start my home work.
My fear of storms caused me to look outside. and to my great regret, a dark cloud loomed over my home. I saw the shadow cast over everything, and quickly checked the weather the storm would start in 20 minutes and end at 12:00 at night 4:00 mom still wasn’t home yet. I was frightened. My brother wasn’t home either.20 minutes seemed like a millennium then, finally, the rain started. it hit the windows and flooded the yard. My mother came rushing through the door as the thunder hit the house and rattled it off the pavement. My head hurt and I was scared so I clung  to my mother and screamed as I saw a large flash of lightning and looked outside balls of lightning flashed out of the sky like bouncy balls. I heard a roar like a waterfall.  The rain was flashing down the hall. I was drowning.  Drowning in fear. My head was filling with the pressure I tried to pull myself out of my fear, but I drowned. Everything black and I sat up in bed then suddenly I realized, it was all a dream.
