Want and Need

I haven't felt like this,
In what seems like forever.
You bring out the best in me,
You bring out the worst in me.
My thoughts get all jumbled,
And my tongue goes numb.
There is so much I want to say,
But nothing that I can.
My emotions are alive tonight,
Waging a war inside me.
I find myself wanting more of you,
More than I should.
All the things I want and need,
Are those that you cannot give.
But, oh, your sweet kisses,
They haunt my dreams.
Thoughts of your touch,
Sets my poor heart racing.
I know I should forget you,
But this connection won't let me.
Don't want to leave,
I know I can't stay.
Crying out to heaven,
Help me find the way.
