NAKED OF ALL ARMOR







Saul, the Israeli king was frightened

because Goliath had challenged him

Goliath the philistine warrior

who feared no Israeli soldier



Now enter David, the shepherd boy

who was not afraid of anyone but God

Saul said 'You do not go and fight him'

' for you are just a shepherd boy' .



David said, 'I fear no one my King,

I used to kill lion and bear

who came to attack  my sheep

I will kill this mighty beast'



David had nothing, neither armor nor shield

Goliath had everything

he was with impressive array of armor

and a shield bearer



David had only a sling and a staff

Goliath had a spear and a sword

but David had faith in God

with that faith David propelled a stone



In to the giant's temple

which knocked him down

that's what we are thought

or did it happen this way too?



David refused any of the armor

so he could move on freely anywhere

since Goliath was with heavy armor

he could not move as freely as the former



Goliath invited David near, to fight

David refused and fought from outside

when David saw the other moving slowly

he acted fast, took aim and propelled a stone





the stone penetrated Goliath's defenses

and dropped him cold in the sand

David with Goliath's sword

thus ended the life of a mighty warrior.
