Poem about heartbreak
My chest is aching
My heart must be breaking
But I said for you to be happy
Even if it was not by me

O, tender heart
Why must you tear apart?

Thy sweet, cherubic face
It held my heart in place
Thy soft breath
Without it, shalt be mine death

But, thou hast been told
I shalt let free my hold
Should your divine love
Seek another white dove
