Sodom

when angels tear their wings
on heaven clouds above
and the devil mourns and sings
on lost prayers of hope and love

give your soul and shine your light
play your game and wake your dead
do not smile and do not fight
do not die - save your breath

and if you thirst we shall bring the clouds down there
we shall drink the blood of the fallen angels of gold
and if you hunger we shall find the source to share
we shall eat the flesh of the beast before it is sold

and when you wish you were in hell
we shall call upon the angel of death
listen, and let him tell
drink the wine and share the bread
