First in everything
I could remember the first time i saw him, he looked at me straight in the eye and smiled at me. My heart beat faster and i felt that i was going to pass out any moment, my cheeks flushed red and i look at my reflection in the mirror checking if my hair was in place, my clothes, my shoes. As he walked towards my direction i start to regret why didn't i wear that skirt i bought last week, or the heels that fit me well and made me look taller, or why did i wear this hideous t-shirt and i hated myself for eating too much for lunch and now i looked bulgy. In my mind, i wish i were one of the popular cheerleaders who were sexy, hot, glamorous and just everything guys wanted. I thought this would be just another crush of mine whom i will only dream about and never get the chance to have him.

It was really unexpected of him to come up to me and smiled saying ''Hi, you look pretty today.'' I just stood there smiling and blushing and wanting to kill myself cause i did not know what to say. i replied back ''so do you.'' and he chuckled. Then i was slightly alert to what i just said 'so do you? what the heck am i thinking'.. it was just ringing in my head how stupid it was for me to say. Then he introduced himself ''My name is Casson. I would like to be your friend.''. I was thrilled and wanted to jump up and down yelling 'YES! YES! YES!', but i stayed calm saying ''i'm Catherine, i'd be happy to be your friend.'' and he passed me a folded note, patted me on the head like a dog and left.

I waited till he turn the corner and started jumping up and down screaming. I opened the piece of note and there it was, his mobile number, written in those small handwriting of his. The beginning of knowing him is just so thrilled. The excitement that he gave me never bore me, and i could still remember as if it happened 10 minutes ago.
