A poem about knowing what is right based mainly on V For Vendetta
The Rebel

He denies everything his government says
He fights the law he lives on the razor
not afraid to die no fear in his heart
or mind. but he still cries because of what
his nation did to him

He heads out into the night to try to pull his
country out of the dark pit into which it has
fallen. But tonight he goes out for the last
time to fight the government one last time
he walks alone tonight his mask hides his
true face. as he walks down that tunnel
to his finnal end. then he faces his enemy
they let loose their bullets of brass and
try to destroy him. when the ammo is gone
the rebel still stands the Enemy is shocked
but the rebel just walks toward their leader
"why have you not fallen"

the rebel ingored the Leader and plunged
his blade into that heart of evil and pain.
As the leaders eyes dimmed the masked one
fell to his knees and with his last breath
let out a victorios scream
"it is over evil is done" then he fell
into the dirt and the mask breaks
and light pours forth to consumes
all shadows as the soul screams one last time
to show the world rebelion to the end
then the spirit leaves it's mortal form of mask and cloak

But the rebel never really died fore behind that mask
there was no mere man there was an idea and ideas
can't die they can't be stabbed they can't be shot
they can't be cut. ideas are immortal and for that
reason the rebel will outlast me you and everyone else
the rebel will live forever in our hearts and souls
he is me he is you he is the Earth he is truth.

make of him what you will
rebel, villan, vigilanty,or maniac;
but to me he is a hero an everlasting hero
