What lies within the dark corner of a poet's mind? (Form: Trijan Refrain) |
Behind The Door Unconsciously, behind the door in depths devoid of light, lay festered thoughts which I abhor. How darkly they incite. Their strange perfume beguiles the mind as they appear before eyes blind. Their strange perfume. Their strange perfume releases darkness unconfined. Unconsciously, behind the door that each of us erects, lies evil blackness that we store from which the door protects. Sonorous calls harshly transcend; the heart can no longer defend. Sonorous calls. Sonorous calls find voice within the poet's pen. Unconsciously, behind the door the demons in me grow. Their whispered voices reach a roar as knowledge they bestow. Cascading ink and words implore through images I can't ignore. Cascading ink. Cascading ink congeals upon a paper shore.
