MORTAL KOMBAT vs SONIC UNIVERSE part 2

the fight seemed like it would never end...
...the battle is between two beings from seperate worlds...
  shadow the hedgehog on one side
and a bewitched sub zero on the other...

"he's gone insane, i want to help him...but how?" shadow thought as he dodged attacks
sub zero was under what seemed like a spell, he was constantly attacking shadow without thinking "why dont you just DIE!" he said "i cant, i'm the ultimate life-form, just let me help you!" shadow replied "I DONT NEED HELP, FOR THE MILLIONTH TIME! NOW BE GONE!" shadow was suddenly knocked down and kicked flying into a warehouse "ugh!" was all he could say. suddenly he saw a beam of frost heading for him, and in the next moment, he was frozen.
sub zero saw the frozen hedgehog...but while he was laughing he heard "THAT'S IT, YOU ASKED FOR IT!" "what?" he thought. shadow had broken free and was freezing him in chaos control and attacking him in every form "ugh, oof AAAAGGHH! YAA, UGH!" was all he could say as shadow attacked...the last thing he heard before going blank was "chaos...BLAST!" and it was over. shadow looked at the body and picked it up and started for sonics lair.
"who is he?" he thought on the way.

on the other side of town knuckles was trying to find rouge "where did that theif go!" he muttered. "aaugh! get back here!" he heard, he ran around the corner to find rouge on the ground with jet laughing as he flew off with the emerald. "coward!" rouge smirked as she got up.
"well, well what have we here?" he grinned as he grabbed her arm "i would take you back to headquarters if it werent for jet having the emerald." "sorry" she said "i geuss you'll just have to let me go." she said as she snuggled up to him "that wont be needed." said a voice.
it was espio, the chameleon "i'll go after jet," he said "and you take her back to h-q." "fair enough, c'mon." knuckles said as he carried rouge off "oof, easy!" she said as she was wisked away.
espio was about to go after jet when he heard "hey ninja man, need some help?" sonic said as he ran up.
if you must i'll take some. they ran off after jet to find him standing in the town center. sonic spoke first "hello jet, wait what are you-" "the power..." jet interrupted "the power is...mine..." his eyes started to glow and fire came from his fist.
"woah! sonic said as he jumped back "i dont remember that!" espio assumed a fighting stance "is he possesed?" he asked

suddenly jet darted forward and knocked sonic back "YEOUCH! what was THAT!" espio attacked and knocked jet down...but only for him to spin-kick him from the ground and punch him back "mmff...is he a martial arts expert too?" he asked sonic "i dont think so." was the replie
"c'mon we need to settle this!" sonic said "agreed." espio encouraged.
jet got up and said "oh we will settle this..." as he lunged for sonic "d-ouch!" sonic muttered as he ran out of the way "that was close" he thought "how is he keeping up with my speed?".
espio and jet were locked in kombat. but jet finaly gave him a hit "oof. that was quicker than anything i've seen!" he stated as he got up sonic looked at him and said "it was almost as if he teleported behind you!".
sonic spin-attacked him "just a scratch." jet said "this is freaking me out!" sonic said as jet tried to back-kick him.
jet suddenly grabbed sonic and then flew at espio and grabbed him and flung them both into a building "it ends here..." he said in a creepy way.
suddenly, he was knocked aside and flung around like a rag doll untill he dropped the emerald...it was silver the hedgehog "thought you could use some help." he said as he helped them up.
they smiled in agreement and picked up the emerald "now as for jet..." sonic said as he handed silver the emerald.
jet was in a corner, the glow in his eyes faded and the flame on his fist gone "ugh...what! what happened?" he shouted as sonic and espio punched him knocked out. espio picked up the body "let's go." he ordered.

back at g.u.n. base the general was being breifed about something that had come up on the scanners. the soldier was babbling almost "it was like a teleportaion device opened...and then it was gone!" he said.
the general thought for a minute and said "keep an eye on it!" "yes sir!".
the soldier went back to work and the general left "i wonder..." he thought as he walked away.

back at sonic's lair
jet was put in a cell with rouge and shadow was in a room doing something.
he was had sub zero on a table. just then sub zero started to wake up "ugh...where am i?" shadow looked at him from the computer and replied "your in my testing room. dont worry though, i'm just looking at your stats." as he pushed some buttons "who are you?" "shadow the hedgehog." "oh yeah, you...your the one i met on the beach-like place..." "fought too." sub zero looked like he was confused and uttered the words "i fought you?". shadow stopped and turned around, shocked that he didn't remember. they stared untill shadow finaly said "...yes..." sub zero got up and said "no i, no...i didn't...did i?" shadow nodded and then heard an explosion and a few shouts of excitment "wait here!" he ordered as he ran outside.

silver was shaking as the emerald shot a beam at him sonic looked at shadow and shouted above the noise "whats happening!" just then silver started to shout-in pain! "AAAAAAAAUUUGH! THE POWER IS TOO MUCH! AAAGH!" "someone help him!" blaze shouted "well?" sonic said back at shadow "i don't know!" was all he could replie back.
