One night changed her life forever, one decision, one woman, one new family.
[Introduction]
“You are my sunshine, my only sunshine, you make me happy, when skies are gray, with your dark hair, and sweet blue-green eyes, I’ll never give my sunshine away…I love you my sweetheart.” covering the basket, she sat the envelope on top, stood up, punched in the door bell, and as the last ring sounded, she was already hiding in a nearby bush. If they didn’t take her baby in, she would find somewhere else. Two, three, four, then five minutes passed without a sound and right when she was about to move from her spot, a light came on, and the door opened. A woman, blonde curls floating from behind her looked around, Sunshine, being herself, gurgled in her sleep. Startled, the woman cast big, blue eyes upon the basket.
Kneeling quickly, she uncovered the parcel and jumping back she gave out a startled breath. Standing up the woman looked around, turned toward the door and called inside.
“Jacob, come here, quickly!” Loud, quick footsteps were heard from inside, and a large figure filled the doorway. Cloud gasped, she knew that man. His dark short hair, and blue-green eyes made her heart lurch in surprise. Of all places she could have brought her baby, the Lord made her bring her here. Crying silently, with relief and of amazement, she nodded, and quietly snuck away into the forever darkness, as the young couple carried the child into the welcoming home.
