Break Away

Thou loves thee as you touch thou’s lips as the piano softly plays a loving song. I see

her eyes light up with all her love from her heart. You smile as you hold her close as

she is in your arms, but you lift her head as you see her crying. “What’s wrong my

love?” you say as she shortly answers back “I need to break away from the truth that

I love you, I need your love like thou gives thee, but I need to break away from all this

hatred that I have for myself. I love you dearly but I need to break away…. I’m sorry.”

You lower your head in shame for doing this, but he lifts your head and says “It’s ok

Hun; I want you to be happy even if that’s not with me. Go your own way and live the

life you want” he says and smiles and you walk out the door after all is said and

done. You walk the streets home in tears as you whisper “I never meant to break

away from you, I still love you, you can just find better than me. I feel so lonely

without you this cold, bitter, night; I never should have said those words.” “Baby I still

love you.” You hear in your ear so lovingly. You look up from the edge of the road and

you see him there with twenty roses in his hands. “I just wanted to say I’m sorry for

what I did.” You stand up and say. “You did not do anything, it was all me.” His finger

presses up against your lips so softly as he says “its ok baby” as he kisses you for

the moments that stand still.
