Putting a salable volume of poetry together--can it be done?
I've been a "writer" since 1963 when my 10th grade English teacher encouraged me in this. I've done a variety of writing. Now after blogging for 2.5 years I have been challenged yet again to pull my poetry together into salable form. I'm going to try. Gingerly. I've done so many poems over the years that it will be difficult to pick out what I think of as my best, particularly as my audience is still vague. I know it will be chiefly female. I know my slant will be Bible-based. Beyond that? Yet to be determined. Can't be too long of a ms. but not too short either. So the process begins.
