[Introduction]
Living in fear of disappointment.

As I walk amongst my peers,
I tread with fear,
Fear that he is with someone else,
Walking in fear of disappointment.

As I live amongst my folks,
Sometimes lie with my foes,
Lying that he is not with another,
Walking in fear of disappointment

As I think of tomorrow,
How life seems to narrow,
Knowing that I am the other,
Walking in fear of disappointment.

Despair is transparent,
Living in fear of disappointment.
