The struggle between the left side and the right side. |
"Ye shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword(Lev.26:7). Vex the Midianites and smite them(Num.25:17). But of the cities of these people the Lord thy God doth give thee for an inheritance, thou shalt save alive nothing that breathes. But thou shalt utterly destroy them .. as the Lord thy God has commanded thee(Duet.20:16-17). Take all the heads of the enemy and hang them up before the Lord against the sun. Slay everyone that were joined to Baal(Lev.25:4-5). Thus saith the Lord; Now go, attack the Amalekites and totally destroy everything that belongs to them. Do not spare them; put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels and donkeys(1K.15:3). See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no God with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound and I heal(Duet.32:39). The Lord thy God will raise up to thee a prophet of thy nation and of thy brethren like unto me: him thou shalt hear(Duet.18:15). If the prophet be decieved when he hath spoken a thing, I the Lord have decieved that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand upon him, and will destroy him from the midst of thy people Isreal(Ez.14:9). His empire shall be multiplied, and there shall be no end of peace: he shall sit upon the throne of David(Isa.9:&7). For I am the Lord thy God, a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon their children unto the third and fourth generation, to them that hate me. And showing mercy unto many thousands, to them that love me, and keep my commandments(Duet.5:9-10). For thus saith the Lord; as I have brought all this great evil upon this people, so will I bring upon them all the good that I have promised them(Jer.32:42). I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things(Isa.45:7). And thou, Bethlehem Ephrata, art a little one among the thousands of Juda: out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be the ruler in Isreal: and his going forth is from the beginning, from the days of eternity(Mich.5:2)."
