The Beautiful Girl

A beautiful girl passes by me;
one whose cuteness is easy to see.
She's adorable with endless charms;
the kind you want to wrap in your arms.

This girl is always in a hurry;
she runs and jogs and tends to scurry.
Her sweetness brings out the best in me.
Oh, how I wish she would stop for tea.

Someday she'll be a beautiful bride;
her loveliness glows from deep inside.
Men will be envious on that day
of the great guy who sweeps her away.

Every day I see her pretty smile;
I wish she would pause and talk a while.
She suddenly stops and comes to say,
"Daddy, will you play with me today?"
