Terra and Luna discuss existence. Written for English class.
They sit and order drinks
And chat idly about the
Universe
Depressed, battle-scarred Terra asks,
"What am I?
I revolve endlessly in our brother's dance,
I am ancient and eternal and tired,
But what am I to man?"

Luna smiles a soft, secret smile
"You are life," says she.
"Without you, what would Man be?
Who else would be a loving Mother?
Who else gives soul to existence?
I have no Man, but I have known him.
All of us must move with Brother's song.
You are Life to Man."

Terra and Luna stand and pay
They turn out into the Universe
Eternal, graceful, ever-watchful
No longer alone
