Screaming eyes

'Why must you scream so loudly?'

         'But my lips did not move.        I did not make a sound.'

'But your eyes,
they scream,
they pierce
the night
like lightening
and my
ears bleed
with sadness.
It drowns
out the whispering
of your heart.

We must adjust
the levels. Here,
let me
twiddle your ears   

that's better    though the pain 
still
resonates

Perhaps a kiss     
                             will balance your sounds?
