My encounter with Ralph
I met Ralph.
He's a wonderful chap.
Ironically enough
we met over trash.

It was 1:30 in the a.m.
I had drunk a lot of soda
ADD and soda don’t mix at all
so I was jittery all over.

My roommate suggested
that I move around,
I spotted my trash
an idea I had found.

I'll take out the trash!
I said with a smile
That will definitely
occupy me for awhile.

I took the kitchen's
this info is key
because that was overflowing
Now don't blame me!

I make my way to the dumpster
a bag in each arm
the first one goes over easy,
to think that would cause harm.

With the kitchen trash
to full to tie up
I went right to the dumpster
so it wouldn't spill out.

When out of the dumpster
to my surprise
Ralph Raccoon jumped out
I think I lost 8 lives.

It went over my right
my arm it’s diving board
the fluffy ball of fur bounced
my God that thing soared.

Once I recovered
I headed back to the room
I have no idea who was more scared
myself or the coon.

Well I figured out later
we had our differences
What I thought was trash
was the nightly special  at "The Bins".

I haven't seen Ralph since
he can't really come to the door
kinda miss the furry guy
I hope he'll stop by more.
