Concrete Barrier

  Concrete barriers are built
        for self preservation
try to explain their exsistence's
        for the family of five
        who lost their lives
          on this sad and
              dreary day

in just one instant been wiped
out from existence, they are just
memories laid to rest on this day.

In the name of self preservation
