An old friend hurries towards Jupiter
CHAPTER 3 - MIRACLE - 0900 HOURS - APPROACHING JUPITER

300 light years from Jupiter, a lone MAU rushed towards the planet. "God, I hope I'm not too late" the mysterious pilot exclaimed. He checked his Universal Navigator. 100 light years and closing fast. "Come on, dont be gone" He continued his rush towards the defence station.
The General clung to the moniter plate as the station was rocked by massive explosions, the angels were firing upon them. "Send out the distress signal now!" he ordered, clutching the wound in his side from the viewport glass that shattered. Luckily, the anti-depressurization shields came up or noone would be left in the station. "Noone will hear it in time sir!" The last technican complied, holding on to his desk for dear life. Stevenson groaned as he began to give up, the station slowly losing its orbit and heading for the planet.
"50..40..30..20..10..exiting overboost" The pilot pulled out just near the planets orbital rim. He looked around for the station but it was nowhere to be found. "Oh no, am I too late?" His reciever picked up something from the planets far side. It was the angel fleet and the station. "Gotta hurry" he said speeding of to the planets far side.
"General, we're picking up a new contact on screen" The General rose to his feet "What, who is it?" The technican tried to gather data from the pilot's MAU. "Sir, it appears to be Major Clearihan, but he was filed AWOL 2 years ago" Stevenson was puzzled, he knew Andrew Clearihan from his childhood and his disappearence shocked him almost as much as his reappearance. "What about that MAU?, that can't be his" The technican went through his computer again "There's no data on it sir". Everyone on the station hoped he was here to save them.
"I've gotta stop this!" Andrew thought, drawing a large sword from the MAU's right side. Raising it high, he charged the angels mothership. The enemy fighters redirected and charged at him, but they just helplessly bounced of him. He smirked "The shields holding". He continued his set path towards the mothership and sliced at it with the sword. Stevenson looked in disbelief as the small cut on the bow increased in size slowly, till it eventually covered half the ship. "Recommend you cover your eyes sir" Andrew sounded over the radio. The General finally managed to look away as the ship erupted into a massive explosion that rocked the base with so much force he thought he was going to die.
After the exposion cleared up, Stevenson looked up at the massive field of debris that was his own team and an angel mothership. He immediatily got back on the radio "Andrew?...Andrew, respond.....Andrew!" only silence came back over the radio. "No contacts on screen sir...they're all gone" the technican double checked those readings as Stevenson just stood there in utter disbelief. It was the last thing he expected and a miracle, a genuine miracle. Suddenly, a voice came over the base speakers "So.....Does anyone wanna come see me in the hangar?" It was a young voice and noone could identify it. "I'm going down there" The General exclaimed. He ran as fast as he could towards the hangar, nearly tripping over on the stairs. He opened the doors and standing there, like a wolf back from the hunt, was Andrew carrying Jack on his shoulders.
