The Color

Dancing brightly with brothers and
Sisters of a different color,
Flickering through the night
The flame giving off light to the lost.

Pumpkins opening their wide smiles,
Growing feet, and arms, and legs
Speaking to those who would listen,
Their souls shining bright from the flame within.

Leaves change to beautiful orange,
Their final transformation in life
Falling swiftly to the ground,
The color stands with death.
