Duct Tape

It's a shame duct tape can't mend a broken heart.
I used it to patch a hole in my lobster boat.
Through 43 good tides it kept her afloat.
A tear in the side of my hip rubber boot,
would the duct tape hold? The question was moot.
Wobbly head light or loose belt that doesn't sound right?
A strip of the wonder adhesive will hold it tight.
Old King Cole, remember that merry old soul,
called for his pipe and bowl and duct tape roll
Tired of the ground shaking out California way?
Two rolls of tape should do the trick I say.
Hole in the floor, or draft coming in the door;
six thousand uses for the magic tape, maybe more...
