This is an insight into my head and my heart.
Her wrists bleeding,

She fell to the floor.

Little white pills,

tumbled out of their bottle.

Tequila straight, she drank.

Her mind raced,

Memories flashed by.

Three faces she saw,

The woman whom she trusted her life entirely,

The man, her best friend,

The man, her enemy.

It never stopped, the pain,

the images of past times.

She saw him, standing over her,

testing her, loving her in his way.

She saw her, letting the man destroy her.

In her mind her best friend came,

So sick and frail, she could still trust him.

Him she never feared.

He didn't care if she was fat or ugly,

she was his only hope.

She promised herself, to him,

she would live up to.

Here, now, it did not matter, that promise.

It left with him, never to be seen again.

Her enemy caressed her still,

even through his cold ashes,

deep in the ground though they lay.

He will always, never will he leave.

He is in everything.

He wanted, her best friend to be.

She knew only too late who was real.

A love she could never feel twice.

A smile so sickly sweet surrounded her mind.

Features so young they can only be pure.

Away from her she stole her childs' innocence,

without saying a word.

For her, she does anything, if only to feel a love as pure and strong.

I miss her, I hate her, I love her.

So innocent in actions, so evil in mind,

For her her wrists drain.

But she doesn't see it or does she not care?

She leaves, just like the rest.

No one stays, never.

The alcohol washes her over.

With time the pain goes away,

only to come back full force.
