A work in progress
Chapter one

"Salem!" my mother shouted.
waking me from a deep sleep and frightening the living daylights out of me.
And I can tell you, that I wasn't happy about it.
"What!?" I shouted back.
"Where's your brother!?"
And once again I could guess he was off with his friends doing something weird.

"George? Oh he's probably out with his friends," I said rubbing my eyes and walking down the stairs.
I looked at my watch, it was 5:00 P.M.
I must have fallen asleep studying.

Damn that English test is tomorrow and I can't keep my eyes open.
"I'm going to bed," I mumbled and stumbled back upstairs and into my bedroom.
My room was the smallest, I didn't mind.
Though my brother's room had less room in it than mine because it was covered in clutter.
I liked my room, It had blue walls and a green carpet.
And I had airplanes hanging from the ceiling.
which was a hobby of mine collecting them.

I also had my work desk.
At least that's what I called it.
I painted models of airplanes on it, I had some unfinished models cluttering the desk.
Though when I would get round to painting them I don't know.
I also had a poster of my favourite band Rock smith and a set of shelves which held every single album they made.
And I can't forget my CD player which I got for my last birthday.

I laid on my bed and a second later I fell asleep.
And then the nightmares began, I was running through a forest running from an unknown pursuer.
I did not know who or what I was running from only that it meant to do me harm.
At first I thought it was some kind of animal, I heard it roaring.
But then I saw its shadow, It was some kind of monster.

It lunged toward me, lashing out at me with i''s huge claws.
And thats when I woke up, drenched in sweat.
I glanced at my watch.
it was 10:03 P.M.
Only five hours had passed.
I put my glasses back on and went downstairs.
I thought about telling my mum about the nightmares but she would probably just send me to see a child psychologist.
Any way no trouble just a reoccurring nightmare that scares the life out of me.

I felt good now refreshed, but I couldn't help dreading the fact, that I might run into my brother if he's home.
He had changed ever since he got sick, he had come down with a terrible fever.
And the like magic the next day he was fine but he changed some how, he was different.
He seemed distant and never spokde to anyone anymore and when he did he was shouting and getting angry.
