Scratching my head while looking at my desk, I found something

was missing. MMMM…
   
Well, here we go again; hold onto your hats!

"Tippy!"  I yelled, knowing full well it had to be her.  She was always

taking my paper and pen.
   
Tippy came running into the room full speed, slid across the floor

and ruffled up the small carpet. 
   
I was standing there wondering when she would come to a full stop.
   
Had to laugh, too funny! 

"Tippy, I want my paper and pen," I said.
   
"Oh, I didn't take them this time," Tippy replied. 
   
"Well, if you didn't take them, then who did?"  I asked with a

quizzical look on my face.

"I can't really tell you; you see it's suppose to be a surprise,”  she said

looking this way and that, screwing up her face, then scratching

behind the right ear.

"But Tippy, I have a job I need to do and without my paper and pen

I can not get it done," I said, trying to be patient.

"You won't have to wait too much longer, for here comes your

surprise now," said Tippy, smiling and wagging her tail.

A large brown truck backed up the drive-way.  A man in brown

clothing got out.  Opening the back door of the truck, he reached

in and took out a package.  He came up the walk, and knocked

on the door.

Almost falling over Tippy, I got there in one piece. 

It's normal if you saw me flipped off my feet

into the air, with Tippy running around here! 

Believe me, that is another story. 

I opened the door, had to sign my name on a square box,

then the man gave me the package.

"This is heavy; Tippy what is it?"  I asked.

Tippy sat there looking at me, rolling her eyes heavenward. 

"Well open it, silly!" she said as she was rolling on the floor

scratching her back.

I set the package on the table and started opening it.  When I got one

end open, I saw something that looked like silver and it was metal.

"OOOOOH!"  "Tippy!"  I am jumping up and down so very happy! 

I finished getting my surprise out of its package, smiling from ear

to ear as just like Tippy, for there on the table sat a wonderfully

new laptop!

I was so very excited!  I knelt down beside Tippy and hugged her.

“Tippy this is so great, I have always wanted a laptop.

But wait a minute, how did you get this?"  I asked.

I heard some sounds behind me and turning, saw my friends had

gathered very quietly as that bunch could, they clapped their hands

and sang Happy Birthday to me.

The smile I had on my face, I thought I would never get that smile

off my face.

Laughing out loud, I  exclaimed,  "Wow!"

"You all are so kind to me, I love you all; thank you so much for

such a perfect gift." I smiled, not knowing if I was going to laugh

or cry I was so happy!

If you haven't noticed yet, I have a special relationship between

myself and my pet…we can understand what each other is saying. 

But, to see us you would think everything is normal.     

Funny! Funny!

What is normal anyway, laughing again.
