I sit here, contemplating life amongst the thick brush and trees.
They provide a shelter from the sun, leaving me in complete darkness.
Darkness. A time where no one can see me, no one can judge me.
But like everything else in life, it only lasts so long.
I enjoy this short time period though.
A period where i can open up, and finally express myself.
Through the rustling of the branches, to the falling of the leaves,
I know the forest hears every complaint i make, every issue i confess,
and every subtle word i say.
I trust this forest, because i know it won't tell a soul the things i have said
or done.
It is my place of solitude, a place that is, for once, all to me and no one else.
If only it was this easy all the time, to have someone to sit and listen, not judging or commenting.
But it's not.
The darkness can only last so long.
