Sail Away

Would you sail away with me?  Sail away to a distant shore.



A shore unmapped or charted.  A place for you and I ever more.



Many dangers may await, In this paradise we'll find.



But no danger will I fear, As long as you are mine.



Our ship we'll build together, It's sails will be our hearts.



Love will be our wind, Imagination draws the charts.



Our island is the spirit, Of what you and I shall build



It is a vast expanse, that never could be filled.



Storms shall come and rage.  And seas shall fall and rise



But I will be ever safe, In the haven of your eyes.



When rocky shores arise, And tidal forces rage.



Our vessel will be strong, And last from age to age



Come with me my Love, And sail this troubled sea.



For I would be lost, A broken sailor without thee.
