This is a comparison between Nature selfless giving versus Man's contant groaning

NATURE AND MAN

Does the tree feel the pain when it loseth a leaf?
Does a bird feel the worry when its youngs fly in mischief
When does the cloud part from the sun
And who tells the flower admirers it has none?

What is the reason for the day to end
Why does the candle burn… what message unsent?
the dew knows it that the sun will come
Do the bees stop their dance when dries the honeycomb

Does the mountain rest a day for some peace?
The wind stills down from its life of unease?
The river refuse a drop to a parched?
The fire take praise for the flames unasked?

Then why does man count his deeds so few?
And claim his so called prize
When nature gives with a heart so true
And never for its sake cries
