A simple poem, based on peoples reaction to nietzsche , though fairly thought provoking.
They killed their king today,
In a fairly casual way;

With logic, debate, and rational device,
Against all ethical advice.

They took his crown, and declared him dead,
And made him bow his humble head.

His bloodless brow, his bodiless bed,
No longer for us he bled.

Where is he now,
Has he broken his vow?

To his people, his few,
Abandoned us for someone new?

No.

We just can’t see him,
since we declared,
“God is dead.”
