Struggle with relationship fears.
You claim you want to hear all my fears from the tips of my toes to the back of my ears.
Do you think you can take all this,
Because right now my life is teetering from this edge of questioning misery ,
My hope of happiness lays in your hands.
My  heart quakes with the knowledge that you may not always love me.
My veins pump with fiery and pain that you do not only belong to me.
My fingertips worry that yours will not love my body,
That there will be no tingles to rejuvenate my soul.
My lips tremble at the realization that someone else kissed your love for me away.
My hands fear that you won’t have the strength to cast aside others opinions of you,
You’re so quick to please everyone but you and me.
My chest heaves with all of your lies,
Choking my lungs,
Making me ponder whether I even know you.
My bones break,
Trying to reform themselves for I will never be the same.
My knuckles bruise because I may not be enough to wash away your self hate,
And replace your emptiness with the hope of love.
My eyes are petrified that yours will always mask your emotions,
Toying with me to believe each of your words.
My throat burns from the ceaseless screaming I endure,
Trying to expel all of my grief.
Will you ever remove me from my house of numbness?
Do you see where I stand,
How I need you to take my hand.
Prove to me that all these ideas are wrong,
I need you to pull me through.
