Clearing My Throat

Clanging cymbals in silence,
slamming the walls of my skull
with a crash;
all I know is
noiseless rebellion,
sly, secret and
eating me from the inside,
hiding under my
larynx,
just now peaking out
like a mole entering the sun, trembling, 
eager, waiting to
escape.
