For consolation Life is fine Easy or not Guilty you are Blood as well Fight your anger Grief, Pain And the temptation If it remain Now is the time To work to mend Move on with your life Stop wallowing in fail Walk in the rain Talk to others Find a puddle Set sail A fight we should refuse A hug, a smile A prayer, a walk These are the moments We should choose For consolation My faults are different But yet we are the same Born as a human I am no different Than a spoiled child that cries I am the same When all is put in perspective Of forgiving eyes I may never speak of this With you Unless it is what you need For consolation I have moved on now Making a way Helping others Trying to succeed Abuser Don’t blame yourself For all of my faults Work on yours Live differently Work to make the wrongs right I hope for you and hope for you I hope for me too All eyes sparkle Somewhere at night For consolation They just don’t need to know I won’t reveal because of blood Because to be human is human However you must Make one promise Live to love, cherish and respect Don’t live selfishly to Inflict, lust or distress Abuser When I grieve I grieve for my lover too Since he has suffered My anger, fear and pain He has watched tears fall Night after night He suffers this not just for me But for you For consolation He is not perfect No Saint to savor For consolation His faults are different But yet he is the same We are all born as human. For consolation He is no different Than a spoiled child that cries He is the same When all is in perspective In one’s forgiving eyes Abuser Look at photos Study them long This is what you run From – Right? They take you back My eyes of blue Hair long Nails dirty Skin sun brown Fingers little Toes are too Skin soft All for the likes Of infallible you WRONG! Study these photos Look at my smile My tenderness My youth Study them until You cry long and then no longer Study them till your Stomach swells and You desire not to live Study them until it is only Filth you feel The guilt, the shame With only humility left to give Study them long Often, until they blur, Until heartfelt guilt turns to clarity And profound shame Study them even longer Study them until you experience THE victim’s pain For consolation I do not hate you Nor hold you responsible Factors play the play Please, I beg you Remember always Our faults are different But yet we are the same To be human is human We are all the same No different than Spoiled children that cry When all is in perspective Of the forgiving eye Hatred of you I refuse A hug, a smile A word, a walk, an embrace These are the moments We should choose Please I pray to my God Beg to you Stop and stare Face to face At the demons you endlessly chase Sincerely Yours, Once Victim, Now Survivor No game to win Just living to face The child within |
