poem i wrote at the beach about the beach
crash crash
the waves are falling
through the ocean
i hear them calling
the voices of my past
they thaw the knots in my back
telling me to relax
crackle crackle
the fire lights my soul
a smile spreads across my face
theres a tinkle in my toes
i hope from here to there
i never fear
i'm unaware
swish swish
the wind blows through my hair
i forget the dread of the pasts
open my heart to the future at last
