Future Dreams

As I am writing
I don't see the gain
In people fighting
And suffering pain

Why can't there be freedom
Peace like the dove
People sharing Earth's kingdom
And learning to love

Love has a sign
That of the rose
There once was a time
When we people chose

To disrespect others
When they came to our door
And murder our brothers
In the name of the law

All were the same
Equal we were
Now the ones who reign
Are superior

The throne of the royal
Has altered the laws
To us they're not loyal
And are provoking some wars

The purple of royalty
Has now turned black
Now the purple's loyalty
Will never come back

Black symbolises the dead
The despair and the sorrow
Will the passion of red
Still be there tomorrow

Or will the red be the blood
Gushing from our veins
Drowning people like a flood
Drowning them in pains

Could the future be fine
If we twisted fate
Would we have the time
Or is it too late

From racism, will we recover
And start respecting all
Will we help thy brother
When thy brother does fall

Will eventually, respect rule
Will there come that day
Respect for smarts and every fool
Respect in every way

Contrarily, one should keep in mind
Life could fall truly
The future for mankind
Could become unruly

When people act Lion
And think they're king
People will start dieing'
And no one can do a thing

But some will arise
Stand up for the rest
Start doing what's right
And lead all to the best

But if people don't follow
Those going for gold
The future will be hollow
Like the times of old

Times will repeat
Things will happen again
The government will cheat
And the world will turn insane

Absolute power will return
This time, worse than ever
The Magna Carta will burn
And it will return, never

The eternal flame
For remembrance days
Will be put to ill fame
And set life ablaze

People will cry
Life will fall apart
The world will die
And the future, depart

The world must act now
Must do what is right
And must never allow
The world to start a fight

A new World War
The worst one yet
If we don't act before
We get the first threat

So hold the sapphire for thinking
The opal for hope
Make the problems start shrinking
And throw out the rope

For life to grab to
And be pulled away
So it won't go through
The pain and dismay

Use the pearl for health
The emerald for success
Strike with stealth
Cause wrongdoers stress

You need the turquoise for prosperity
Innocence; diamond's required
Use the amethyst for sincerity
Create the world peace desired

Be the leader of the pack
Lead the rest on
Never turn back
Until your war has been won

A war without weapons
Fighting or pain
A war without cannons
Firing again and again

This war will impact every day
It will be the best war there's ever been
This is a war that will hold evil at bay
This is a war that both sides will win
