a poem in memory of my late father
Tears stream down my face

as quickly as April showers

burst from the sky.

While memories of you bloom in

my mind as if they were May

flowers produced by the warm

spring showers.

The day you passed away

my world turned to gray.

I feel lost like I'm stumbling

blindly in the dark.

Will my life ever regain it's

dazzling spark?

I never got to say goodbye

now everday all I do is cry.

Even though you never got to hear me say "Daddy, I love you."

I just wat you to know that my heart is forever true.
