Chapter 10
Yoga of this Most Secret Godly Knowledge

O strong armed one!
Here from Me again
My Supremely Influential words
Which I will speak only
For the wellbeing of
you who
have great love for Me

My story of My Origin
is not known to any
Not by the deities
nor by the great sages
for My Beginning
precedes theirs

Those who realize Me
as the Unborn
the Beginning less
and the Great Lord
of all worlds
that knowledgeable person
is freed of all sins

Those numerous qualities
of human beings
by which he
decides between right and wrong
and understands
factual and accurate knowledge

His intelligence
forgiveness
truth
his ability to control
his senses
and his mind

His ability
to feel
happiness and sorrow
and to understand
genesis and destruction

His ability to comprehend
non violence
to be equable
and content

His ability
by which he practices
discipline
and charity

His power to comprehend
the difference between
fame and ill-fame

All of these
and many other feelings
in living beings
arise from Me
Alone

The seven sages
before them the Sanaks Rishis
The fourteen Manus
of whom you know

All these beings
have been created
by the power of My Thoughts

As also their descendants
who populate
this entire world

That person who knows this
My secret Godly Glory
and My Godly Yogic Power
Is doubtlessly 
filled with the same pure yogic powers
which is Mine

I,  Vasudeva
am the Cause of the Creation
of this entire universe
And this entire world
makes effort to attain Me

In this way
the knowledgeable and respectful
devotee
Worships Me alone
Constantly

Those among men and women
who apply their minds to Me
continuously
who lovingly chant My Name
without hesitancy
I bestow upon such devotees of Mine
this great Yogic science
by whose practice
they attain Me

O Arjuna!
I reside in them
and dispel their darkness
which stems from ignorance
With the light of the lamp
of this My Sacred Secret Knowledge

Arjuna said:
O Lord!
Undoubtedly
You are the Supreme Knowledge
the Supreme Abode
and Supremely Pure

All sages of yore
All deities
and divine persons also
say so
and
You too
say this unto me

I do believe
that which you speak
to be the Truth
!
O God!
Your Form is known
Neither to the deities
Nor by the demons

O Lord !
You who create all beings
O Lord of all beings!
O Deitiy of the deities!
O Master of the world!
O Perfect Person!
Only You yourself
know Yourself
through Your own Self !

Therefore
only You are fit to reveal
to me
Your own divine glories!

By which Grandeur
You have expanded these worlds
and all therein
Yet you are still stable
in Your own Serene Being!

O One who are with the Lord !
pray tell me
how may I know You
by thinking of you constantly?

Please tell me again
All of your Glories
in every detail

Then the Lord God spoke thus:
O Arjuna !
Now I will relate to you
My Glories
in their priority
of greatness only
for My Gandeur and Glories
continue endlessly !

O Arjuna !
I am the soul seated in the hearts
Of all beings

Among luminous celestial bodies
I am the Sun

I am the brightness of the 49 gods of air
And the Lord of the planets the moon

I am the SaamVed in the Vedas
Indra among the gods

Among the sense organs
I am Mind

Of embodied beings
I am their Life Force

Among the Rudras
I am Shankar
among the Yakshas
I am Kuber

I am Fire
among the eight elements of Nature
Among the peaks of the mountains
I am Sumeru

Among all the created trees
I am the sacred Peepal

Among the godly sages
I am Narad
Among the celestial musicians
I am Chitr-Rath

Among the enlightened
I am Sage Kapil

Among the celestail horses I am Uchashrava
And among the best of elephants
I am Airaavat

Among humans
know Me
to be
the King

Among weapons I am the Vajra
Among cows
I am Kaamdhenu

I am Vasuki
the king among Serpents

Among Pythons
I am Naagraj

I am the Lord Varun
among those who move

I am Aryama and also Yamraaj

Among demons
I am Prahlaad

I am time
among the countable

And among animals
I am the Lion
king of all

Among the birds
know Me to be
great Garuud

I am the wind in those who make everything pure
and among those who hold weapons
I am Sri Raama

Among fishes
I am the Alligator
Among rivers
I am the Ganges

O Arjuna I am the beginning middle and end
of all Creations

And I am also the subject of study
of those engaged
in Spiritual reflections

And among those who debate
I am logic
Among letters I am Alpha
Among Samaas I am the Dwand-Samaas

I am Maha Kaal
and also the One
who sustains all

I am with faces
in every direction
I am the death
which ends everything
And the birth of all things
that are born

I am the fame and purity
the beauty
the glory
the compassion and forgiveness
in woman

I am the force
in those who oppress

Among those with deception
I am the game of gambling

I am the influence
of those men
who are influential

I am the victory
in those who are victorious

I am the power of decision
of those who take decisions
And the pious feelings
in pure persons

Among the Vrishta Vanshis
I am Vasudeva-
your very own friend

Among Pandavas
I am Dhananjay
that is-
you yourself

Among sages I am Ved Vyaas
Among poets
I am the poet Shukracharya
I am the Policy
in those who have the will to win

I am Silence
in those who keep secrets

Of the knowledgeful
I am their Essenceful knowledge

And O Arjuna!
I am the Cause of all things
that having a beginning
Understand that there is no being
animate or inanimate
which is without Me

O Arjuna !
My Divine Glory is without an end
I have spoken of them
only very briefly
here for you
For
Whatever glory filled
godly or fame filled
power filled
object
that you see
Understand them to be
only a fraction of My Brightness
and Power

O Arjuna!
what is to be gained 
by you
in knowing all of them!

Understand this clearly
that
I hold this entire universe
together
with just a fraction of My Powers
while I remain stable within.
