Scenes of Salvation

Lost in time, lost in place
confused as I was, ignorance was strong.
Ambition crawled through me like snakes in a pit.
I was scared beyond imagination!
Trying to find peace, trying to find Someone to talk to,
but I was blocked at every turn!
Tired, trapped, deserted, destroyed,
this pain, this sin is more than I can bear!
But Christ Himself had already accepted me for what I was!

Scenes of salvation, scenes of grace,
scenes of mercy, scenes of peace, God's perfect plan!

One change that is evident is the peace of God,
eternal peace, lasting province.
A change of views, God's own influence,
power to change the world for Him!
A change of character, shining His own light that He gave to you,
a change of reasoning, sharing God's own word!
Peace, prosperity, eternal life, the power of Christ that He can give to you!

Scenes of salvation, offered to all,
Scenes of Grace, mercy from God,
Scenes of peace, eternal prosperity!

Welcome, Death! Christ has paid for me,
passage won by Him.
Traveling through the passage of death,
He is guiding my every step,
having comfort through Christ, peace and prosperity!

Joyful in Him I sing outloud:
"In Him there is peace and prosperity,
in Him there is love.
Come, Death, and take my life,
but my soul will live on with Christ forever!"

Scenes of salvation, the safety-net of God,
Scenes of grace, protection of the Almighty.
Scenes of peace, eternal comfort God brings!
