a poem conceived because of my fears
Embrace me, fear of the unknown and let me feel [i want a hug...]

The pain I have eluded, wasted years of hiding.

If learning be a knife to carve me in pain

then etch firmly that I may be worth

A person of my ideals though of dream inspired.

Let me bleed 'til I bleed no more,

Death be my test, a fatal endeavour

Only to realize all that I can do.

The last breath that is worth more than a lifetime

Of joy, of peace, of heaven

For war is not a sin but of a necessity

eternal wine of a mortal body

For a human is not a human without fear

but a slump of skin and bones and hair

Never fated to see what bravery is.

for those who bleed know how to live

Those who live do know how to try.
