Through tear drops and raindrops

and darkened skies,

Smiling faces and dancing eyes,

Lovers that are enemies in disguise,

Life is nothing short of a surprise,

Through deception and lies,

and rejection, our hearts cry,

The faces that dot are lives,

The only thing valuable in the world, that survives,

Through madness,

And sadness,

And broken hearts,

Somehow the world is a work of art.
