Something I was listening to gave me this image...
Three violins all in a line
Their tune mystifies all who pass
A time for joy and a time for pleasure
We dance together and forget our sorrow

The music fades and one steps forward
His solo pierces through the room
We again are bewildered yet continue to listen
Dancing with slight dissonance that is felt with each step

The music leisurely begins to increase its tempo
A piano breaks the violinist's solo and copies them
It takes lead with violin following its every move
Like an assassin lingering only to strike when its victim turned

Our moves quicken as the music's swiftness continues
We no longer look to our partners with a kind eye
Instead, our attention becomes focused on each other
Waiting for one to slip

The violinists circle around the piano
Their instruments of music develop into instruments of violence
They pick up tempo and draw closer to their prey
Only to silence those who "do not belong"

I grip your hand, you drive your nails into mine
Friends lust for the blood of their partners
All things sacred have disappeared
Our feet stomp to the rhythm of darkness

Suddenly one strikes the lone piano
The others take no hesitation in following
As they tear away at the keys and wood
Voices of rage and distrust fill the room

Throats are grabbed while gunshots are blazing
Lashing hands and biting teeth
We no longer are filled with thoughts of trust
Confusion has possessed the minds of man

There is no end to this dance of deception
We waltz to the sound of anger and violence
Brother against brother, we step to the music that tears us apart
We do this because we let the sound of chaos become our dance
