True Friendship

People stay together longer,
When they find that special something.
That warmth inside
Of beauty and passion
That some how conquers everything.
Love is higher than the starry skies,
Can't be replaced
Or lost,
And I use this poem to tell you why,
Your love is ever strongest.

I never thought I'd feel like this,
Never have you in my stride,
You're more to me then words can say,
Like a dream that never dies.
You give me more each time we meet,
Your eyes are always sparkling.
Your kindness and your love for me
I never take for granted.

So here I say,
I wish you love,
I thank for your friendship.
I hope I never loose this feeling,
As it's the foundation of my happiness.
