When midnight cheered

It hurts to hear a sound so rare
a leaf in the twilight, a movie with a bear
queers room the night and i dont stare as i pass
not here in the twilgiht with the shattered glass
the bud of cigrette still lit in the dark
as the rain flows like a concrete river and I speak in the dark
speak of fear as it cracked in the night
