Another short poem about the kind of effect that beauty has on men

Beauty's Sword

Two gems rare, holy lord!
Sunk upon thy golden sword!

Glide the fingers o'er the blade
Thing of will, duty made

Gloss of glass, grace in form
Surface cool, tingle warm

Beauteous artifact, but still
Mangles flesh of man at will.
