The rainstorms came again
Heavy rain falling down
Crashing onto the ground below
The rose stays strong

He thinks he's a tree
Standing strong
after the rain has gone
he feels weak
the rain returns
he is strong again

The rain leaves
The rose is weak once more
after so many times
rain coming and going
he is not so strong anymore
he is not the tree
he is the rose

before the last petal falls
the rain will come
he won't mind falling to pieces
he knows in his mind
the rain will leave again
